Terms of use

Effective 7 November 2026

These terms are between you and Renaissance Systems, the trading name of Varun Veerbhadra (“we”). By using Breathland you agree to them. Questions: hello@accustom.app.

What Breathland is, and isn't

Breathland guides your breathing: a small light walks a ridge, and you breathe in, hold and breathe out with it. It is a relaxation aid, not medical treatment, and not medical advice, diagnosis or therapy.

Breathe gently. If you feel dizzy, light-headed or short of breath, stop and breathe normally.

If you have a heart or lung condition, or are pregnant, talk to a doctor before doing exercises that hold the breath.

Don't use Breathland while driving, in water, or anywhere it would be unsafe to lose focus. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Who can use it

You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and your app store may ask them to approve it. Breathland needs an account: you sign in with Apple or Google.

Your data

Your progress, preferences and session history are kept with your account so they follow you to any phone; our privacy policy explains how. The lands you have opened stay open while your account exists. If you delete your account, your progress cannot be brought back.

Using Breathland fairly

Don't misuse the app or its services: no attempts to break or overload them, reverse engineer them beyond what the law allows, or get at other people's data.

Ours and yours

We own Breathland, its name, its lands, music and design. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the app store's rules. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

Changes and availability

We may update Breathland, add lands, and change or stop features. We try to keep it working, but can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Breathland is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Breathland in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

Ending

You can stop using Breathland and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access if you break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the place where we are established. You keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim in its courts.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date above when we change these terms and, for meaningful changes, tell you in the app first.
